John Kennedy released this statement today via Facebook (emphasis mine):
John Kennedy and Mary Landrieu will meet for the second debate of the Louisiana race for US Senate this Sunday, October 12 at 7:00 pm at the Cox Communications Center for Student Athletes on LSU’s campus.
We will meet beforehand on the LSU campus to show our support for John and give him encouragement as he enters into the debate hall. Please meet us on the North side of Tiger Stadium at 5:50 pm. From there we will walk up the hill and position ourselves outside of the Cox Building.
Signs will be provided, but you may make your own if you would like.
The debate is closed to the public and is by invitation only. However, the debate airs live from the campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge on the LPB Television Network and WLAE-TV32 in New Orleans. Public Radio stations WRKF-FM in Baton Rouge, KRVS-FM in Lafayette, KXUL-FM in Monroe, KDAQ (Red River Radio) in Shreveport, and KSLU in Hammond will simulcast the forum. The event will be streamed live on the internet and then archived.
Make sure to watch if you’re able!
