Awww…get Nick Lampson’s blankie, he needs a nappy-poo!

Poor Nick Lampson, he’s just all tuckered out these days:
“I need a break. We all do,” says democrat Nick Lampson, who is defending his seat in the 22nd Congressional District. “It’s an exciting period, though, when we have an opportunity to meet so many people.”
Well, I have good news for you, Nick!  It looks like [...]

Some great news out of Texas!

There was a lot happening in Texas’ 22nd District this weekend, starting with this press release from the Olson campaign.  It seems that the Houston-area CBS affiliate KHOU has rejected an add from the DCCC promoting Rep. Nick Lampson:
[Friday] KHOU Channel 11 pulled a misleading television ad by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee that falsely [...]

Just what is Ron Klein scared of?

He has backed out of a debate with Republican challenger Allen West.
You can’t really blame him.  It’s hard to debate when you’re on the wrong side of the facts.

John Murtha manages to say something stupid…again

Take a peek at how Rep. John Murtha is defending himself after calling his constituents racists:
“What I said, that indicted everybody, that’s not what I meant at all. What I mean is there’s still folks that have a problem voting for someone because they are black,” Murtha said.

Murtha said the history of southwestern Pennsylvania is [...]

Nick Lampson can’t even count on his own wife’s vote

Here are the details from Erick Erickson at RedState (emphasis in the original):
If I were one of the Texas-22 citizen questioners attending this debate, I would ask a simple question of Congressman Lampson: does Lampson anticipate getting his wife’s vote in the November election?
Turns out, according to sources we have in Texas, that Nick Lampson’s [...]

I’d rather be average and smart…

…than “beautiful” and stupid.  Nick Lampson’s “beuatiful” spokesman Trevor Kincaid would obviously prefer to be the latter.  Take a look at the errors, lies, and inaccuracies he provided to the press on behalf of his boss, Nick Lampson, and ask yourself if you think that Lampson is spending this $60,000 a year wisely.
I love the [...]

Wait a minute…who’s a racist?

Well, according to Rep. John Murtha, his own constituents are.  Just listen to ABSCAM John:
The 17-term Democratic congressman told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in a story posted Wednesday on its Web site: “There is no question that western Pennsylvania is a racist area.”
[...]
Murtha, who backed Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton in the state’s April primary, told the [...]

Allen West debates Rep. Klein

Gateway Pundit notes that Allen West debated Rep. Ron Klein last night and when Klein tried to blame President Bush for the economic crisis, the crowd booed.
Excellent!
Here is a youtube of the event.  The booing starts about 4:35.

Using Murtha’s own words against him

Captain Ed Morrissey picked up on Bill Russell’s new ad against corruptocrat Rep. John Murtha this morning.  Here it is:

This ad, while a bit long, would be effective if it get smuch airtime in Murtha’s district.  As Ed says:
The most effective ads use the opponent’s own words against him, and Murtha [...]

John, Freddie, and Fannie

The Enron-style accounting practices of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have lead to a government bailout of historic proportions.  However, it seems that the Freddie and Fannie had enough money to donate to more than a few political campaigns.  Jonah Goldberg over at NRO’s The Corner has found the top four beneficiaries of these donations:

#1 [...]

Nick Lampson breaks NASA promises

This is an older video, but the facts still remain.  If you’re an employee of NASA or care about it’s future, you should watch this video before voting to re-elect Nick Lampson.

SUVs for me, but not for thee

As Americans all across Pennsylvania and the rest of the United States struggle with the high cost of fuel, Rep. Paul Kanjorski is riding high–literally–in an SUV furnished by you, the taxpayer:
In his first attack television commercial, Republican congressional candidate Lou Barletta slams U.S. Rep. Paul Kanjorski for funneling $10 million to a now-bankrupt technology [...]

Kanjorski thinks he’s running against Pres. Bush

Boy, someone should get his fevered brain out of office this November.
Portraying Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta as the local version of President Bush is the main Democratic strategy so far in the 11th Congressional District race between Mr. Barletta and U.S. Rep. Paul E. Kanjorski, the incumbent Democrat.
Note to liberals: Bush is not on [...]

John Kennedy calls for more debate

State Treasurer John Kennedy is requesting debates in each of Louisiana’s congressional districts, while  Sen. Mary Landrieu is stalling.  She’s taking a page out of Sen. Obama’s book, I guess.

Sen. Landrieu’s Misplaced Priorities

Sen. Mary Landrieu, one of the most endangered Senate Democrats in the 2008 election cycle, is getting a lot of heat for voting down an amendment that would have opened up shale oil drilling in the Western United States.  As if that wasn’t bad enough, take a look at her defense of the vote:
Landrieu, who campaigns [...]
